Yes Express PLC is a rapidly growing logistics and courier company committed to providing fast, reliable, and customer-focused delivery solutions across Ethiopia. With our expanding regional operations, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Director to lead and manage our Asosa, Gambela and Jimma branch operations, ensuring efficiency, service excellence, and strategic alignment with the company’s goals.

Position Summary:

The Regional Director will be responsible for overseeing all operational, Marketing, financial, and strategic activities within the Jimma region. The ideal candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure high customer satisfaction, optimize logistics processes, and drive business growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and supervise the overall operations of the Jimma regional office, including courier services, transportation, warehousing, and customer support.
• Develop and execute regional Marketing and business strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics (KPIs), including delivery timelines, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue targets.
• Oversee budget preparation and cost control to ensure profitability and financial health of the regional branch.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients, government offices, and strategic partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, logistics regulations, and safety standards.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff to maintain a high-performing team.
• Submit regular reports to the Head Office regarding operations, performance, and strategic updates.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and bottlenecks quickly and effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial or regional leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics, courier operations, and regional market dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, teams, and complex logistics operations.
• Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with digital logistics platforms and KPI-driven management is an advantage.
• Fluency in Afaan Oromo and Amharic is highly desirable; English proficiency is a must.
• Knowledge of the Asosa, Gambela and Jimma region and surrounding areas is a strong asset.
